I am very honoured to have been asked to take part in this year’s BBC Music Day which is a “UK wide annual celebration of music that aims to unite communities across different generations”.
It takes place this Friday 3 June and there are some special events taking place across East Anglia. In Cambridge there will be a fusion of Opera and Hip-Hop, as well as a mass flash sing-in led by the wonderful Dowsing Sound Collective. There will also be a number of pop-up performances taking place in busking locations across the city. I will be playing at two of them. You will be able to find me at the following times:
- 12pm – Lion Yard entrance (near Superdry)
- 1.30pm – Market Place (outside the Guildhall
A big thank you to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire Music for asking me to be involved; it’s great to be part of this national celebration of music.
