With the release of my upcoming single ’95’, I seem to be constantly returning to nineties music at the moment so I thought I’d try and pick my top ten songs from the decade.

This was very hard, especially as I could have picked a top ten of just Manics songs but I was tough on myself and limited them to just one entry (maybe I’ll do a separate top ten for them).

I’ve picked the songs that have the strongest memories for me from that time for one reason or another. Anyway, here’s my list:

  1. Manics – Motorcycle Emptiness
  2. Blur – End Of A Century
  3. Feeder – Cement
  4. Aerosmith – Livin’ On The Edge
  5. New Radicals – You Get What You Give
  6. Guns N’ Roses – November Rain
  7. Joyrider – Rush Hour
  8. Smashing Pumpkins – Today
  9. Terrorvision – Oblivion
  10. Suede – Metal Mickey
  11. McAlmont & Butler – Yes
  12. Placebo – Teenage Angst

(Yes I know there are 12…I couldn’t whittle down any further…)

I’d love to hear other people’s choices…
