After the whirlwind and the excitement of the Kickstarter campaign for my new album ‘The Last One’, it is now time to get on with creating music. I’m very pleased to be heading into the studio next week to start recording the album. I’m also very excited to announce that I’ll be playing at a number of great festivals this year, where I’ll be showcasing songs from ‘The Last One’, as well as playing a few oldies.

It all begins on Friday 12th May where I’ll be performing at the Yaxley Festival for the first time. I’ll then be returning to the famous Strawberry Fair to perform on the R*E*P*E*A*T stage on Saturday 3rd June.

On Friday 9th June I’ll be performing at Homegrown Music Festival in Bury St. Edmunds for the second year running. I’ll be on the Hunter Club Stage at 8pm. I love this festival; it is run by wonderful people who really care about music and there is such a great line up. Tickets aren’t much, so get yours and make sure to be there.

SubterraneanLater in the year I’ll be playing at Cambridge’s biggest and most iconic venue, the Cambridge Corn Exchange. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be playing at this amazing venue where I have seen the Manics, Radiohead, Muse, Pulp, Suede, Stereophonics and Minty (look them up!). I’ll be part of a brand new all-day indie and rock festival called Subterranean, taking place on Saturday 23rd September.

There will be three small stages (The Inferno Stage, The Labyrinth Stage and The Underworld Stage) placed inside the venue’s main auditorium rotating to provide the very best local talent alongside some national bands from the worlds of rock and indie. The upstairs bar of the venue will become The Lair, featuring the very best in acoustic rock and indie, and there will also be music in the venue’s main bar. I’ll be performing in The Lair and will confirm stage times as soon as I have them.

The amazing line up includes: The Amorettes, Stone Broken, PINS, Phoenix Calling, Mammoth Penguins, Hollowstar, Sweet Crisis, Grieving, deVience, The Extons, Beverley Kills, Staycations, Seasons, The Baby Seals, Goldblume, Dave McPherson, Ducking Punches (solo), Oscar Corney, and Matt Hammond.

All in all it is going to be a great musical year. I have more gigs and festival appearances to announce soon so keep an eye on the gigs page of the website.

I look forward to seeing you on the road.
