Thursday 25 September will see me kicking off my first ever tour. Starting at The Cornerhouse in Cambridge, the tour will take in 13 different venues, predominantly across the East of England.
Preparations and rehearsals have gone very well and I can’t wait to get on the road and play for you. I’ll be touring alongside my guitar, my looping pedal and an array of effects mounted on a pedal board I recently built myself. At the shows I’ll be playing alternative versions of my songs using the looper and effects to build up the tracks. I really hope you’ll enjoy what I have created.
I’ll be joined on the Cambridge date by the fabulous Tom Lumley and The Centimes. The following day I’ll be heading over to Ipswich early in the morning to appear on Ipswich Community Radio before playing the Cult Café in the evening with two amazing artists – Johnno Casson and Swallow and the Wolf.
Everyone that attends a show will be offered a free copy of my début Black Holes EP before it is officially released. There will also be some fabulous Black Holes merchandise (designed by the very talented Ali Chappell-Bates) available at all dates.
For full details please either visit the gigs page of my website or my Facebook page.
Hope to see you at one of the gigs.
The Black Holes EP
There has been a slight delay with the release of the EP but it will be with you all very soon. The good news is that it sounds great and the music video, filmed by Bradley Stearn, looks fantastic.
Come and see me on the tour to get your free copy and hear my special live version of it.
As soon as a release date is confirmed I will let you all know.
See you next week.
Gavin
